Jason Nagy, aka Morfious. Born 1976, current residence Amherst, NY (just outside of Buffalo)

I love to snowboard, surf (not that there is an ocean anywhere near here), play rugby and rollerblade, when I am not busy playing MAME. I am in grad school at Daemen College and MAME helps me to relax from the stresses of school. (The first 4 years of college were so much fun I thought I would go back for 4 more)

Morfious came from the movie "The Matrix"... it was either that or Ultra Laser and I knew that wouldn't work! (I love "Hackers" too)

I've been playing video games and arcade games since I was 6. Ah, the good old Atari 2600 system: I still have it and it works! I remember getting each new home system and thinking how much better it was than the last. I saved my $5 a week allowance for 6 months to be able to buy a Nintendo Entertainment System ($120 with the light gun). I got a Sega Genesis and Playstation, the day they came out. If only I could play the actual arcade games in my house....

2. I got into MAME...

... just by accident. I was surfing around one day looking at emulators (Nintendo, Atari) when I came upon the Mecca that is MAME (I think version .33). Imagine how wanting to play Pac-man and Street Fighter II ended up as custom-hacked joysticks and a full-scale arcade cabinet in your living room! At least I am not the only passionate arcade gamer out there. I have since recruited others into the wonderful world of mame.

3. I love playing...

Fighter games: the Street Fighter series, Mortal Kombat, Pit Fighter, Killer Instinct
Driving games: Super Sprint, Off road, OutRun (if only it shifted right!!)
Beat 'em ups: TMNT, X-Men

... and all the games I remember playing from my childhood (Space Ace and Rad Mobile)

4. I would like to say to Nicola and the MAME team...

Thanks... Without your hard work I would never be able to be 12 years old again! Who says you can never be a kid again?
